Set within our woodland in the National Forest, our HFT / FT Air Rifle Course offers a varied and challenging shooting experience with changing distances, angles, target sizes and shooting positions.
Each shooting peg indicates a shooting position, such as prone, standing or kneeling. We operate the course as a training facility, so if you are uncomfortable with the indicated position, you may shoot the target from a position that is suitable for you or use shooting sticks.
What to expect
15 shooting lanes
30 targets, with 2 targets per lane
A mix of distances, angles and target sizes
Natural woodland shooting environment with a woodchip base
HFT and FT-style target layouts
A variety of shooting positions throughout the course
Course layout
Two targets on each lane and a variety of distances, angles and target positions create a realistic field shooting experience. The changing layout encourages you to judge each shot individually rather than simply shooting repeatedly at a known distance.
