Purpose-built, self-managed ranges in the National Forest. No annual membership fees and no club politics. Pre-book your lane and bring your own kit.
Range plan
Every range we have, drawn to scale from the firing line. Most are covered, with purpose-built benches and a wide variety of targets for different abilities and disciplines.
Paper target holders every 10 yards from 20 to 90, plus spinners and knockdowns. The range to choose for zeroing and pellet testing.
Spinners, knockdowns, reactive and bell targets on a slight arc, so every table gets a different view. Night vision only on Wednesday evenings.
Fixed benches, padded seats and reactive targets from just 3mm, with duelling trees for friendly competition. Great for HFT practice from a seat.
Hundreds of bells, gongs, steel plates and challenge targets from 10 to 40 yards, for air pistols, airsoft and BB guns.
Fixed benches, padded seating and large target plates for precision paper shooting. Floodlit and open late on Wednesdays.
Your own lane with foam targets at 16 and 26 yards. Only four archers per session and no lane sharing. Recurve, compound and longbow welcome.
Wind-out paper targets and reactive plinking targets between 5 and 25 yards, inside the covered 80 yard range building.
Tracked wind-out paper targets and reactive targets between 5 and 17 yards, inside the covered 90 yard range building.
15 lanes and 30 targets through natural woodland, with changing distances, angles and shooting positions. Air rifles only.

Your induction is included in your fee. We do not have card facilities onsite. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will still be payable.
Before you visit
Late opening, Wednesdays until 8pm
Enjoy an evening on the ranges with our Wednesday late opening. All sessions must be booked in advance.
Seven lanes with fixed benches, padded seating and large target plates. Bring your own magnets to secure your targets.
Continue practising after daylight fades with your own bow and arrows.
For shooters with their own night vision equipment. Not floodlit, so please bring a head torch.
New to shooting?
No equipment of your own? Our sessions include everything you need, along with instruction to get you started.
Special events
Overnight on the ranges with a central fire, or a relaxed two-hour social shoot. Spaces are limited.
Facilities
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Around 1.5 miles from the range is a service station with McDonald’s, Greggs, KFC and Starbucks. We simply ask that you take all litter away with you. All onsite purchases are cash only.

Tanks must be within their test date. A £2 surcharge applies to tanks filled from empty. If you have not completed our induction, an additional £2 charge applies.

We now specialise in air rifle, air pistol and archery range hire for people with their own equipment. It’s a quieter, more personal experience, and one that gives us the opportunity to really get to know our customers.

We are in Newbold, Coleorton, North West Leicestershire, close to the Derbyshire border. We are conveniently located for the M1, M42 / A42, A50, A511 and A444, within easy reach of Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Loughborough and Coalville.
