About this range

Our 80 Yard Range is a purpose-built, fully covered air rifle plinking range with nine fixed shooting tables, designed for relaxed shooting, regular practice and enjoyable plinking sessions.

With targets positioned at a variety of distances from 10 yards up to 80 yards, you can practise your accuracy, improve your range judgement and learn how your gun performs over different distances.

This range is also open late on a Wednesday and can only be used with night vision scopes. This is not a floodlit range.

Use your night vision scope on our late night Wednesday opening. This is not floodlit, so you will need a head torch for set up at the table.

Types of targets and range layout

Our 80 Yard Range is built on a slight arc, giving each shooting position a different view of the targets. Changing benches between visits gives you the opportunity to shoot a different selection of targets and keeps each session varied.

How it works

Pre-book your lane through our online booking system.
On your first visit, you will need to watch our safety induction video and complete your induction.
Bring your own air rifle and equipment, as equipment hire is not available for standard range hire.
Arrive for the start of your booked session and sign in before shooting.
Follow all range safety procedures throughout your session.
Head torch needed for the late night Wednesday range hire.

This is a self-managed shooting range, so all users share responsibility for helping to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

Range hire pricing

£10 per lane for a 2-hour session. Your session starts promptly at the time you booked. Your induction fee is included in your lane fee.
You may share your lane with one additional person, with one gun shared between two people. They will need to complete the induction, which costs £10, plus £3 to accompany you on the lane.
Payment is cash on the day only. We currently do not have card facilities onsite.

Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend your booked session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will still be payable.
